Thalix Vault brand reference

Thalix Vault should look like a focused Thalix product, not a generic dashboard template. The canonical MVP reference is the private thalixinc/thalixinc-website repository at source commit 5911ac055419e599aaa2b3071c5227953488ea4c.

This page records the small visual subset needed for the Vault landing, login, installation, account-state, and documentation surfaces. It does not authorize copying the full corporate website or expanding the MVP web scope.

Canonical source files

  • Visual tokens and base typography: src/index.css
  • Detailed industrial/schematic treatment: public/thalix/site.css
  • Web-font imports: index.html
  • Product mark: public/thalix/assets/thalix_mark.png
  • Corporate logo reference: public/thalix/assets/thalix_logo_full.png

Copy approved assets into this repository when the first branded web card is implemented. Do not load runtime assets from a developer workstation path or from another repository.

Product naming and logo use

  • The product name is Thalix Vault.
  • Use the Thalix mark beside the text Thalix Vault in product navigation and authentication surfaces.
  • The corporate full-logo image contains THALIX and ThalixInc.ai; use it only as a visual reference. Do not place that wordmark text in the Vault application header.
  • Do not carry the website's Thalix AI label into Vault.
  • Provide useful alternative text when the mark conveys identity. Decorative duplicates should use empty alternative text.

Core palette

Use the website's CSS HSL values directly so the product and corporate site remain visually related.

TokenValueIntended use
Paperhsl(38 28% 95%)Primary page background
Paper 2hsl(38 22% 92%)Elevated or muted surface
Paper 3hsl(38 18% 88%)Secondary card or chip surface
Inkhsl(30 10% 12%)Primary text and dark controls
Ink softhsl(30 8% 30%)Body copy
Ink mutehsl(30 6% 45%)Secondary labels
Rulehsl(30 10% 78%)Hairline borders
Rule stronghsl(30 12% 38%)Emphasized borders and inputs
Signal bluehsl(214 84% 46%)Links, focus, active state, and limited emphasis
Signal blue deephsl(214 84% 34%)Strong accent text where contrast permits

The design has one accent hue. Do not introduce decorative purple, gold, multicolor gradients, or glowing effects.

Typography

  • Display and section headings: "Source Serif 4", Georgia, "Times New Roman", serif
  • Body and controls: "Inter", -apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, "Helvetica Neue", Arial, sans-serif
  • Technical labels, status text, and CLI examples: "JetBrains Mono", ui-monospace, "SF Mono", Menlo, monospace
  • Headings use regular weight and slightly tight tracking.
  • Eyebrows use 11px mono text, uppercase, with approximately 0.18em letter spacing.

The MVP may load Source Serif 4, Inter, and JetBrains Mono from Google Fonts while the site remains online-only. System fallbacks must keep login and account surfaces usable if font loading fails.

Shape and composition

  • Favor a technical drawing or research-paper feel: generous whitespace, visible rules, precise alignment, and compact mono annotations.
  • Use square controls and cards. The canonical radius is 0.
  • Use flat fills and hairline borders. Avoid large shadows; a one-pixel edge plus a restrained elevation shadow is the maximum treatment.
  • Keep the landing page sparse and product-specific. The login page should prioritize clarity, credential safety, keyboard navigation, focus visibility, and error readability.
  • Responsive behavior must preserve the hierarchy on narrow screens without hiding authentication status or critical actions.

MVP page application

  • Landing: mark plus Thalix Vault, concise secure-storage proposition, one clear login action, and no unimplemented feature claims.
  • Login: branded but minimal authentication panel with explicit loading, failure, disabled-account, and signed-in states.
  • Account state: identity, role, and logout only until later cards authorize additional web administration.
  • Installation: brand-consistent download guidance after signed installers exist; never imply an installer is available before verification.
  • Documentation: reuse the palette and type hierarchy while preserving readable code blocks and navigation.

Acceptance checks

  • The mark is copied from the canonical source and committed locally with its provenance documented.
  • UI text says Thalix Vault; it does not say Thalix AI or substitute the corporate domain for the product name.
  • The page uses the paper/ink/signal-blue system and the approved font stacks.
  • Controls remain accessible with fonts, images, or motion unavailable.
  • No gradients, glow effects, rounded pill buttons, unsupported product claims, or public administration controls are introduced.
  • Landing and login layouts pass desktop and narrow-screen visual review before the identity card is accepted.
